How to go to

Bann Makok

We are located along a klong (canal) that connects ‘Klong Yai Kee Waterfalls’ to ‘Klong Yai Kee Beach’ on Koh Kood, Trad province.

Trat is east of bangkok at a distance of a little more than 300 kilometers. 

 

There are 2 steps of journey, before you can reach Bann Makok

Step 1 : From Bangkok to Trad
By Plane

(1 hour)

Bangkok airways flies from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Trad.

Pleasevisit www.bangkokair.com  for flight details.

 

Once arrived, the airport limousine (THB 1800) can take you to the pier, which will take another 45 minutes.

 

Please check boat time and choose your flight time accordingly to minimize your waiting time.

By Bus

(5-6 hours)

Air-conditioned buses leave from eastern bus terminal (Ekamai) and northern bus terminal (Mor Chit 2) to Trat several times everyday. We would like to suggest Cherdchai tour, operating from Ekamai, as the company has received good feedback so far. The contact detail and operating time is as follows. But please check again with the operator for the up-to-date schedule.

By Car

(4-4.5 hours)

Recommended Route : Motorway - Chonburi - Ban Bung - Klaeng - Chantaburi - Trad

 

- From Rama 9 road and onto Srinakarin road, get into the Motorway (toll fee apply). 

-After the second toll fee on motorway, take the Ban Bung exit and head to Klang. (highway No.344) 

 

-Turn left at Klang junction to Chantaburi (highway No.3). Go forward until you reach Sa Kaew-Trat junction, turn right, and you’re now heading to the town of Trad.

Once you reach the town of Trad, it will take up to another 30 mins to get to the pier.

Most piers have public parking where you can leave your car. It’s normally roofed and safe.

The charge is 50 baht per night.

Step 2 : From Trad to Bann Makok

There are speedboat and ferry departing from different piers on Trat to different piers on Koh Kood.

We will pick you up from ferry drop-off point.

The distance from Trad town to Laem Sok pier is 25 kms, and takes around 30 mins.

 

You can park your car at the pier, with a charge of 50 baht per night.

Boonsiri now offers transportation from Khao Sarn Road to Koh Kood. With bus or van from Bangkok straight to the pier

and catamaran ferry from Trad, you will reach Koh Kood within 7-8 hours.
